The Weak US Dollar, As Seen On Ebay

As of tomorrow I will have shipped out 18 items that I sold on ebay in the past week and a half. What you see above is the breakdown of the countries that the packages have shipped to.

Of the 18 auctions total, only 3 were won by US residents, and 11 auctions were won by Europeans. This certainly if close and personal proof in the pudding that due to the strong Euro / weak dollar there are plenty of folks across the pond willing to take advantage of the opportunity to bid on ebay and have a currency exchange rate advantage over US residents in auctions.

This is emphasized even more by the fact that these non US resident auctions winners are also paying significantly higher shipping fees to receive the goods thru the mail. Strong European demand can certainly good for me if I can find a steady diet of quality items I will keep on putting them on the bay.
