Earlier in the week Jeff at Wormtown Taxi posted a picture and a little blurb about eating some corn on the cob that made my mouth water and my tastebuds tingle.
Until this evening I hadn't enjoyed the corn on the cob ritual yet this summer. But after leaving the beach yesterday there was a truck set up on one of the corners on a country road less than a mile from the beach in Middletown RI. Nothing but nice ears laid out in the back of the truck and a lady filling up bags, with a dozen ears per.
I took home 6 ears yesterday and this evening Crystal steamed them up and Jeff is indeed correct when he states, "no summer is complete without doing this at least once".
