I decided to log in to my 401K account this morning just to see how very horrible my 2008 performance was for the full year of 2008. I ended the year down 37.7%. Ouch!
I also had two sales in my personal accounts during 2008. I sold some vested company shares for about a 45% gain, and my shares of Napster were cashed out under the terms of a merger agreement with Best Buy for about a 30% loss.
Let's hope for much less blood in the streets in 2009!
