4rilla does mushrooms (a recipe)

So I spent Saturday helping Crystal prep for the evening's dinner party. We spent the morning running around getting some stuff at Shaw's, Trader Joe's and Target.

The real fun started when we got back to the kitchen. Make yourself a nice stiff drink and commence to cooking and preparing. I put together a dish that Crystal pulled off the internets somewhere. I present to you:
4rilla's Blue Cheesy Mushroom tips:

2 pounds white mushrooms
8oz cream cheese
1/2 cup blue cheese
1/2 cup chopped mushroom stems
2 tblspns chopped onion
4 tblspns butter or margarine

Remove stems from all your mushroom heads. We want to be able to jam the empty caverns with a paste made up of our cream cheese blue cheese creation. Yummie... Save 1/2 cup of removed stems.

Combine cream cheese and blue cheese. Add in the mushroom stems and onion to your mixture.
Melt 2 tablespns butter in saucepan. Add half of the mushroom heads for 5 minutes on medium heat. Repeat.

Fill each cap with your mixture. Bake in oven for 10 to 15 minutes as 350 degrees.

Enjoy!

Today it was snowing but we really didn't care, we headed into the Bean and went to the Museum of Science. I think we both recommend "Fighter Pilots" in the IMAX. Also saw Mars Rover in 3D, that one should have been a little bit longer, but I love watching the uber nerdy NASA scientists. While I'm talking about uber nerdy it is nice to go to the Museum and see that there still is a small percentage of the population out there that are being geeks and raising geeky kids. Mothers reading the signs next to each display in sing songy tones to their kids. Saw some really fucking annoying and self important acting fuckers speaking French. The planetarium was nice and mellow. Was a great way to spend a snowy day, and the highways were fine, just a little wet!
