Memories of Days Gone By...

I suggest all of you 20 and 30 somethings out there try this out if you haven't done so in years and years.

The other night I decided to make cook and serve stovetop Jello Pudding. Wow. I probably haven't had pudding made on the stovetop and then had the pleasure of eating it warm since I was yea high to my momma's thigh.

It was really a sensory experience that bring back feelings of being young and free. No job, no bills, no worries. I usually have a hard time remembering things from way back when and feeling a solid connection to my childhood, but I must say the combination of the smell, taste, texture and temperature of the pudding while eating it warm of the stove brought back a taste of the 80's.

I suggest you all go out and cook up a batch of cook and serve Jello-Pudding before it is banished from the shelves and the microwave variety becomes our only option!
