News Corp. to acquire the parent company of MySpace

I mentioned Intermix ticker: MIX on Saturday night..... I thought the stock price had seen a top, but Rupert Murdoch figured he would throw some more money on the table in order to acquire Intermix and its network of websites which include myspace.com

News Corp. will acquire Intermix for $12.00 a share in cash, which is a nice uptick from Friday's close of $10.72. Would have been even better if we picked up some shares 3 months ago for under $4.00 a share.

There were also some rumors that News Corp. might have an interest in acquiring Napster ticker: NAPS next. I own and am currently down on some Napster shares I bought about 6 months ago. I'd welcome a cash-out, especially if it puts back in the green.
