The October ritual that is the Rock and Shock Convention rolls into Worcester this weekend and takes over the Palladium and DCU convention center.
If traveling downtown don't run for cover if you see any vampires or ghouls milling about. Odds are you will more than likely only encounter some disaffected goths and sci fi movie fetishists and the juggalos who are fans of the Insane Clown Posse.
Headlining bands include-
Finnish metal rockers Children of Bodom
Gwar and
Insane Clown Posse
Seperate from the music Worcester will be graced by some C list celebs including:
Rowdy Roddy Piper
Grown up teen star Corey Haim
Jason Mewes and Brian O'Halloran from Kevin Smith's Clerks movies
While this event certainly isn't my cup of tea more power to those who will be in attendance, come and spend your money!!
